MERCY HOME ORPHANAGE, THIRUVANNAMALAI, INDIA
There are currently 80+ children being housed in the Mercy Home Orphanage. Headed by Drs. Luben Kumar and Mercy Rani, the orphanage provides shelter, clothing, food, and pre-K to K-12 education to all the children in the orphanage. Through a company-wide giving/matching campaign and the support of donors, Intellihot raised funds in 2015 to support Mercy Orphanage’s gas and electric bills for one year. Employees of Intellihot currently sponsor 14 children at the Mercy Home Orphanage.
PEORIA HUMANE SOCIETY, BARK IN THE PARK
We are excited to announce that Intellihot is one of the sponsors of the Bark in the Park, 2016 event, an annual fundraiser of the Peoria Humane Society. It will be held on October 9, 2016, in Peoria. The goal of Bark in the Park is to raise money to help the animals of the Peoria area as well as provide a fun event for pets and their families to share together. In addition, employees of Intellihot also support other local animal rescue organizations such as Anothony and Friends EPIC Animal Rescue and Second Hand Hounds.
ST. ANNS HIGH SCHOOL, RAJAHMUNDRY, INDIA
Established in 1970 with 8 children, St. Anns High School, in Rajahmundry has grown to become one of the most reputable schools in Andhra Pradesh, India, with three computer labs and various athletic and extracurricular activities. Students from diverse economic backgrounds study in the school, and the school alumni have instituted a scholarship program specifically to retain students at-risk for dropping out due to family circumstances. Through a company-wide giving/matching campaign and the support of school alumni donors, Intellihot is raising funds in 2016 to support the school’s initiative to provide clean water to the students.
